Araucariaceae Araucaria scopulorum de Laub.

Etymology
Araucaria refers to ‘Araucania’, the region where A. araucana is found and its indigenous people (Mapuche) are also similarly called ‘Araucanians’.
scopulorum refers to ‘of cliffs’; indicating its habitat.
